There is a multitude of historic character in the homes and structures of South Carolina. One such place is named The Wallace-McGee house. This two-story structure was built in 1937 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and state Historical Archives. A local trenchless sewer contractor was needed to repair a leaky structure ruining the ceilings and walls of this historic home. A well-known contractor, Drain Pro, was chosen for the job, which involved using a boiler descaler and a Perma-Liner Industries cured in place flex liner to repair two storm drains. The job had to be done with patience and efficiency. Both storm drains ran through interior concrete walls discharging into separate French drains. Using a state of the art camera, the crew was able to verify heavily deteriorated pipes. Included in the preservation and maintenance of this historic landmark was, not only the inspection, but the cleaning of the lines prior to the rehabilitation. One of the tools used for this was a 300 gallon jetter from US Jetting. Drain Pro was careful to choose the right tools that would be least intrusive, yet do the best job. The team successfully rehabilitated the storm drains in two days. If you’ve got know-how and Perma-Liner Industries products, you’ve got a perfect match!
