A homeowner’s flooded pet cemetery caused by heavy rains and a clogged drain pipe (located in a 2-acre pond in Lexington, S.C.) required an expert in the field. In the month of January, the challenge of cold water is a given, but the water level needed to be negotiated, as well. A 15-foot-high earthen dam across a stream in a heavily wooded area had created the 65-year-old pond. The only way to reach the outfall to inspect the pipe was down the face of the dam. After toil and trouble, the Bergeron crew heading up Drain Pro, was able to access and inspect the pipe which revealed not only vegetation and heavy scaling in areas, but two dead turtles causing a blockage.
